QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
WHAT IF I HAVE A BIG JOB THAT REQUIRES MORE PEOPLE?
I have a few contract assistants that I can call on to help when needed. The price for 2 organizers is $75 per hour.
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
For any job greater than 5 hours I do request a 25% deposit at the time of booking.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO MISS A BOOKED APPOINTMENT?
I would appreciate 24 hours notice but I understand when something comes up. I will certainly pay my clients the same respect that I would like to receive. I have young kids and I hope sickness never interferes but occasionally it might. Many of my clients have young kids so I understand if things come up in your home too.
If it is a recurring issue I have the right to bill you for part of the service. And if it's a recurring issue on my end you have the right to cancel my service.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Cash, Square (either online or with my reader), Pay Pal, or Venmo.
HOW LONG WILL THE JOB TAKE?
There are so many factors that go into how long a job takes. A 3 hour minimum is typically required to make an impact. Some projects are already pretty organized and just need sprucing up. While others make take multiple sessions to get complete. A consultation to see the space will help me determine an estimate.
WILL YOU MAKE ME GET RID OF EVERYTHING?
No! You will maintain the ownership of your items. In many spaces purging is necessary to achieve the results you may want. But I'm also wanting to help you organize the things you do have. I offer to help you by taking donations to Manna House & providing you an itemized receipt. But if you want to keep your items and go through it yourself you are welcome to do so.
DO YOU CLEAN?
No I am not a true cleaning service but I do have recommendations for you if you would like them.
However, I never reorganize a space without cleaning a bit while I go. New totes never go onto a dusty shelf.
I HAVE COLLECTIBLES I NEED TO SELL-HELP!
My suggestion is to reference the item back to eBay. How many are up for sale? How many are actually selling? What are their selling/list prices? There's an old age saying, "One man's trash is another man's treasure." However, it goes the opposite way too. Items are truly only worth what someone is actually willing to pay.
